About the Radiochemistry Core
The Radiochemistry Core provides investigators access to new and existing molecular imaging agents, which can be detected by Positron Emission Tomography (PET), for their preclinical and clinical research programs. The RADCHEM Core is equipped with 6 lead-lined minicells, all housed with state-of-the-art automated radiosynthesizers capable of producing both C-11 and F-18 derived radiotracers.
In addition, we also possess HPLCs, GC and all other quality control equipment necessary to comport with USP <823> guidelines to support clinical research studies. We also are staffed with skilled organic chemists with access to the necessary synthesis and purification equipment to synthesize novel small molecules or radiochemical precursors and identity standards.
