2025 UVA Brain Retreat

Join us for the 2025 UVA Brain Retreat on Tuesday, April 29, 9:30AM-2:30PM in Newcomb Hall!
The event will feature talks by UVA neuroscience faculty and a poster session where faculty, professional research staff, and trainees can share their work. This is an opportunity for UVA neuroscience researchers, from undergraduates to faculty, to learn more about the vibrant neuroscience research community at UVA. We hope to see you there!

Registration is now open!
The Call for Posters is now open, with a deadline of March 31 (11:59 PM EDT). Submissions include title, author information, and 250-word description. No tables or figures may be included in the abstract, and posters should be no larger than 48 inches x 48 inches.
Trainee lead authors of posters meeting the guidelines will be entered into a raffle for one of three $500 awards toward travel/registration to a neuroscience research conference.
Call for Posters
The Brain Institute expects to host a larger 2-3 day event with both external and UVA presenters, similar to the 2024 UVA Brain Symposium, in 2026.
